Before studying this topic, knowledge is only limited to the Cordillera region, but now understanding how strong, skilled, and wise the Kankanaey's are in keeping their traditions alive despite the changes of time.
What is most inspiring is how they value community and cooperation. Their way of life, whether in farming, mining, or celebrating rituals, always centers on unity and respect for others. It shows that success and happiness for them are not about wealth, but about harmony with people and nature. Their rice terraces, handwoven textiles, and rituals reflect their deep connection to the land and their ancestors.
It's impressive how the Kankanaey continue to balance tradition and modernity. Even with modernization and migration, they have not forgotten their roots. Their stories, dances, and beliefs continue to teach younger generations about identity and pride.
